2.0 rebuilt engine fitted back into the engine bay ready for this weekend to fire up and run in.

 

Went to Loch Lomond to stay in a log cabin for a week popped up to the green welly.

What sound deadening material have used and what speakers are those? Did you use any adapter rings for them or were a straight fit ?

I bought alpine sxe-1750s component speakers which i mounted with golf mk4 adapter rings. The sound deadening is "silent coat" sheets. Bought it all on amazon

Its hard to say. I did the whole boot floor and rear arches too and i think its made the car a little quieter on the motorway but ive been too busy testing out the speakers and fixing interior squeaks and rattles :P

I have loads of those little gadgets that make the Intel Tune whenever they see light it you want to put one in there also
