Maybe stating the obvious but would an Octy RS bumper afford you a bit more room?? Would be a hell of alot cheaper than trying to source an RS4 one.

Yes...Bengie has an Octy 4x4 and as seen on EddyH 4x4 the RS front bumper will fit.

I don't know whether the RS4 bumper would fit but if it did, I doubt it would match up witht the rest of the body work e.g. arches.

Both options appear to be expensive, but then I suppose the FMIC is anyway :)

Octy seems like the better bet though :)

:D just fancy something a bit different if i can get it to fit easily and looks good

RS4 won't look right imho even if you can get it to fit as it's too rounded compared to the rest of the Octy.

the S4 is 47mm wider too, cut and shut anyone? :o

what about a WRC replica bumper?

got any pics?

Bengie, the long and the short of it is... if you have deep enough pockets you will be able to make any bumper fit on to your octy... fibreglass and filler can work wonders!

not my cup of tea at all that one mate. good try though

have a look at milotec or some of the other german tuning houses for inspiration... you could always look at modifying a vRS bumper for give a different look.

Milotec do RS4 style vents for the side of the vRS bumper and you could also use a different mesh in the grilles. You could also consider enlarging the centre grille depending if you are running a bumper bar now.

I have just cast my vote on that bumper. Now rated at 1.6/4.0 - which is pretty generous. :(

Now 1.5! ;)

reminds me of the Evo style bumpers the Nova boyz went mad on a few years ago...

not for the likes of a Skoda i'm afraid.

i do have the bumper bar fitted at the momentand in two minds whether to mod it or not, my heart says yes to increase airflow over the intercooler but my head says "don't be silly, this is your crash bar!"

also not totally sure on the look of the massive grille
