Ho hum....

Memo to self: Keep keyboards and credit cards at least an arm's length away from each other after a couple of bottles of Stella.

Just booked in for the afternoon session on 7th October. Anyone want to join me?

(slightly of topic) remember i now marshal for oulton park circuit probably could get a trackday cheap at oulton park one year

probably next year,as marshals who "play" at oulton park (have heard get a discount) i kinow we have a marshals track day for nothing but i am finding out how much it would be to book a track for a number of cars. another forum already asked me so already sorting something out

(on topic) i would love to go to anglesey but can't afford it at the moment unless i end up with a racing driver who is loaded  can always dream can't i :D have fun everyone who goes

Typical I booked the day @ Anglesey but left it for 3 weeks before confirming so I could be sure of the time off - So now I book only to be told that I can't have the day off after all :(

That's a pity - you missed a good day. Only a handful of cars there; I managed to get the track more-or-less to myself most of the time by waiting until the track warriors were coming into the pits.

I know bloody typical, I had an awfull day in work as well :thumbdwn:

still absolute top marks to circuit days - who have given me a full refund - minus there paypal costs which considering it was only 7 days before the event is very fair of them, as a result I will definately book with them mext year.

Maybe I'll catch up with you then!

Well you lot really missed out on a superb day. The weather was excellent and the track not too crowded. The only Briskodians there was me and Shifty.

I had a couple of scary moments. The first one was when I straight on and the track didn't. Bit of driving around on the grass then Dave kindly slowed down to let me back on the track. (probably laughing)

The second scary moment was when I had pulled over to let a 400bhp+ Noble pass. At the same time a pheasant thought it would be a good idea to cross the track. As it turns out it wasn't a good idea. It's now an ex-pheasant.

It is a great circuit and I'm gutted that our track projects are just not working, the octy is a bit sick and our other german creation is a bit too loud still :(

Annoying as well for missing a good weather day.

I can sympathise with you Col.

I have one project currently going no where due to a young large chested blonde and the other project is eating parts like there is no tomorrow.

Yup our project is going to kick my octys rs ;)

Just shame it's pishing fuel over the floor, needs some welding of a cage that is made for the car but does not fit etc..just one after another that stacks up, so a weekend turns into a month into 6 month.

The beetle has no rear suspension basically down to having no mountings for suspension any more. It's going to have coil overs but that means space framing the back end which is a nice challenge and hours of CAD work.

The rally car is eating diffs if the anti lag is used which isn't very healthy.
