Just got to save to try some things, trouble is my mind dont switch off so just runs n runs

So slight niggles or doubts run wild after a while

I will save for new adaptors then see.... If feels fine i know its the stretch or falkens

If feels weird i know its the rear camber etc

I drove it back from taunton with bbs and camber and that was fine from what i can remember

The hammer was very much down at times too

Doesnt help that i reeeeally like that se furb in the for sales

And the absolutely mint mk4 R32 ive found

The mind of a 'modder' is always active so that will never stop I gues!

What do you want from a car? If you changed to one of the above would anything change? Or would it be the same but a different shape car in the garage instead?

Love the look on oem rims, just a smidge lower and a yummy exhaust note

Im ott with the octy cos bought it new, so any mark or knock seems worse

Plus now it stands out like a sore twazurk so feels like would attract dickweeds :(

But then my issues kick in...... Would it then mean the octy beat me if i sell it when he is annoying me ?

Rather than sell it when i choose

Lloyd, chap in the office next to me has a gorgeous blue MkIV R32 with the works on it, Forge induction kit, Full non-resonated Milltek inc manifolds, Race Cams, Revo Stage II, Bilstein Coilies, ARB's all round, braced blah blah blah, like I said the "works".  From the outside totally OEM+ but with the most spectacular exhaust noise and the blue metallic paint on it is glorious when shined up.

Don't want to see you manic OCD leave the Skoda fold , but that would be a great choice if you did.

R32 if running costs weren't so high is a brilliant all rounder and as you say just need very small tweaks!

Only you know what feels right but keeping a car because something about it is annoying you does sound a bit bonkers!

If I could happily squeeze the fam in a 3 door R32 I'd be driving one now. Nothing better than a 6 cylinder exhaust note!

Mate of mine has a mk5 with full milltek on it and it sounds amazing.

Even toyed with the idea of an engine swap into the octy

R32 in a mk1 sounds like a new project for ya Lloyd, you've already got a solid base to start from.

To be fair looking at the pics of that blue one makes me want to buy one!!!

If only I could squeeze the family in a 3 dr. Gutted.

There's a silver one for sale out side a shop I pass regularly, keep resisting the urge to go see how much it's going for. Must stop looking.

Ok..... So a visit to the lads at performance driven yesterday for some camber and toe antics

1st was wind it up and get taking measurements

Long story short

Pull off wheel

Pull of calipet

Pull of disc

Pull of bearing n stuff

Remove or insert a camber shim or toe

This went on a few times as the toe was messed up un even

The oem spec was like 3.6 give or take 1.sonething

I had made 3.7 and 5mm lol ooop so 8.7 toe in

There was a inevdable issue tho :(

It seems a hub bearing will only play nice so long

So this happend ....

Both sides booooo

End result was ..... Chris was awesome

And confirmed by hunter style set up today

1.6mm each side so exact match

Total 3.2 or such lol

And a -1 camber shim in place

So rear camber is -2

Feels more stable ...... ALOT !!

Drive to taunton at no more than 60 as 70 felt insane

Drove back.......

Well drove back with a smile

Ok im still aware of the stretch but i can have a bit of fun now and still feels fine under foot

The falken 914s struggle like hell tho so i think they will turn into toyo t1sports at least

Im also thinking about other options like raise it and try a 235/40/18 on the 9.5

Or a 245/35/18

But for now...... It all stays put as debt and bills are paid

Ive prob missed something so i'll sort later if need be

Still obviously aware of the stretch on the back but im sure it would feel stable up to like 125 before it feels of abit again due tyres or wheels

130 i wouldve thought it would then feel

But upto the 70 on the way home it feels nice enough

So yes he may be allowed to stay lol
