And ive fooked my rear

Rear camber is basically -2.5

But results from this is rear toe in is 4-5mm

They were impressed that i messed about with

stuff symetrical tho :)

If we can take a moment for the poor falkens as they are sentanced to death................

Ok.... New old wheels are being eyed up for my next ones :D

Will be back to Black Edition Ch's

But the 5x100 8.5j version

Just cant decide 18s or 19s

This should allow some camber to be removed and therego allowing the right foot to worry less ;)

But still keeping enough stretch to keep me happy :D

This is a good decision!!!

After forking out ££££s for fancy forge bits and what not, sticking some relatively cheap wheels on that means you cant use any of it didn't quite stack up in my book!

I would say 18s as think they are the best all rounder but it did look sweet on the 19s!!!

+1 on what fear said when I was messing with BMW's the e46 M3 boys said 18" s for driving and 19"s for posers. I've driven M3 on both and the 18" handled better by far. Just my 2p worth bud.

Swaying 19s tbh

As i can use my 215/35/19s i got

I could use my 2 215/40/18s but something sits unsettled on my front 3sdm ( love the rears - live with the fronts )

Where a 8.5x19 will still have smidge poke ish

The 215 will stretch a little but not mad which will amuse me

The quality is awesome which eouldnt bug me

And my right foot can go back to its natural habitat :D

Dnt get me wrong i love my 9,5 rears :) and will run them until coombe

Then back to BBS's courtesy of Rob @W8 again :)

Feeder of my habbit :D

With a 8.5 and 215 i should be able to drop most or all my camber ( maybe keep the 0.5 for a smidge )

The back rides **** and theres no escaping it

The fact it looks sweet doesnt out way :

No give in sidewall so hard ride

Camber to fit said width throws toe

Camber causes it to feel unstable at times

It trams at times unless hammer down on smooth sweeping roads

They will get fair judgement so i will pop my views down after theyve been used more than 100miled lol

And in the dry

:D

Also with 19s , even a 225 will pull the wall a bit due to a 35 profile

U under estimate how strange and bizarre i am :D

Why don't you get air ride? Perfect stance when you want it and useable height when you need it

  • Author

lol cos i dont have monies anymore :D

I give up

Fook you wheels i want CH's again :)

No camber

No huge stretch .... Well some stretch ;)

No headaches

Aaaaaaaaaazrgh

There's a company that offers finance on an air kit

After some thoughts i have arrived at this point

1- adapters and my ch's on

2- 5x100 direct fit 8.5x19 ch's

3- fiddle with 001s , try 235 rears 225 fronts

4- im really giving thought tona official high price tag ( just so the chance or oppertunity is there )

Slap adapters back on your ch's. Daft selling and getting some more when you have a perfectly good set sat doing nothing ;)

What about some Ronals ?

  • Author

Adapters and 5x112s back on Lloyd as snh says no point selling to buy nearly the same again

  • Author

If anyone like the read you can have it for £6500

I give up i think :(

I dunno if its a january blues or such but im not feeling it :(

Stick the CHs back on that you have got with some new adapters and see how you feel!

But think you have got to ask yourself what you want from the car?

Before the 0.01s the car was perfectly useable and seemed liked you were enjoying it! But you still needed to play with it more, which i totally get as that's the bug that most have!

But if you put the CHs back on and still feel that itch then maybe its time to move on to a new project as the car wont get much better so you will just end up changing stuff you have already done and may well end up in the position you are now!

I get that you are abit bizarre (no offence intended) but to have a car that you have and not want to use it or to not even be happy with just doesn't make sense and there must be some underlying reason you feel that way!

Just my 2p :)
