My plan was to see if could pop this on....... But after getting it and

1 knowing its price

2 seeing how delicate it it

I thought i cant be trying to fit a fiddle 30 quid sensor that seems it can break with a thought

After a chat with the vw guys up the road they will pop it in for like half hours labour so £28 so not to bad

That way it will be alive and if they break it they can afford a new one

Then its 1 more tyre

And my dear wifey going to sort me a loan to get my service shizal up to date and all my scattered goodies fitted

Im just worried if i break it bud.... Tbh i cant afford another 30 quid to throw away lol

I remember i nut under it ?

Do i hold one and undo the top 1 ?

Or is it just 1 nut ?

Im guessing i have to take the cap off to do it up :( so the spindle will be exposed for me to snap off

Just 1 nut built into the sensor. Once you get it nipped loose you will be able to get it undone by hand. Just make sure you unplug it first and you will be fine

Farb bushes (23mm)

R32 farb fitted

New drop links

Super pro rear beam bushes

Rear handbrake return springs fitted

Rear camber increase shim (-0.5)

Rear caliper aligned to camber

Full tracking and alignment

New pads and discs all round

Surely there wont be much left to do after that lot combined with what you have already!!!

Attention to the little details is awesome though and what truly makes a car great rather than just good!

All bits needed to over haul and get him upto date are now here and ready

All looks and sounds awesome Lloyd, I have really enjoyed reading through and seeing the progress. It is a sweet car

Can I ask though, where did you get hold of the brakes in the above pics and are they the piranha discs?

Mine needs brakes all round and these look like a nice example as had been looking at the discs and yellowstuff pads.

Good stuff, thanks for the links. Yeah they are the ones I thought they were then.
