Hi fellow NE briskodians, having been away in Essex for the past few months I was disheartened to see the Tanhill meet didn't go ahead - at least I didn't miss out!

Is there much demand for a run out in June somewhere? Perhaps resurrect the Tanhill Meet with the buttertubs drive, or even head further north into Northumberland - a run up to Bamburgh, then Fish & Chips in Seahouses?

It looks like I'm free that weekend (not many in June) so I'm up for it.

I'm getting very tempted to drive over to the lakes the weekend before (9/10th) and of course the weekend after is Touring cars at Croft.

I've noticed that 17th June The Olympic Flame is coming to our area in the Afternoon, so we could have a meet and see it. However I'm guessing there will be lots of road closures and crowds of people so it could be avoided. It is going to Redcar on Monday.

So whatever happens, I'm up for a meet (unless I'm asked to work that weekend). If not I'm happy to drive to Harrogate for the Yorkshire meet, (it's only an hour away).

If you fancy a longer drive out, you could join me and 20+ other cars on the NW Cumbrian Run, next weekend.
