Can anyone recommend anywhere for a Remap in Lincolnshire?

Featured Replies

I have heard mixed reviews about Corten Millers in the area, So I was wondering if any of you have taken your Skodas there, or better yet your Fabia. Or if there are any other places you could recommend?

Shark Performance in Mansfield would be worth a look

Yeah I saw they were in Mansfield, still a good 2.5 hours away from me. Think going to have to have a good think about it, everyone on here recommends getting the remap done, saying it's like "Night and day" when you drive in and out. Would you only really need a stage 1 remap?

If we're 2.5 hours away from anywhere in Lincolnshire, then you definitely need a remap!!

Get yourself over to Shark.

You won't be disappointed :)

Haha, okay, maybe 2 hours, but I am right on the coast, so I am the furthest possible way away.

I know the options are to either increase bhp, or mpg, is there any way to increase both as I have read people have done but surely increasing fuel injection doesn't do much for the mpg?

Yes I know the road network doesn't lend itself to speedy travel in Lincolnshire!

We don't sell our remaps based upon MPG increases but generally customers report that their MPG gets a little better, 10% or so. You're right in that increasing the injection will use more fuel and so if it's driven hard, then your economy may go down, it all depends on how it's driven.

I've had mine mapped by Shark for approx 20 months now.

If I'm hammering it, MPG is down slightly (Still haven't managed to get it to average below 40 though, even after a track day)

If I'm careful, MPG is up some margin from when the car was standard.

No it certainly doesn't, need to get to Lincoln before you hit a straight road.

What's the actual process for the day then if I was to travel to you?

Thanks for that, when you hear good things it eases your mind a bit doesn't it.

I would recommend jabbasport in peterborough. Had my stage 1 map for 8 months and the mpg has increased.

I use the extra torque to change up early and very rarely rev it over 4k

It's not cheap but it is good

Straight roads are boring ;)

Yep, I always think the best advertising is word of mouth from happy customers

Technically yes, but the night and day effect has a curious effect on your perception of what is "enough". Life will never be the same afterwards.

+1 for Shark by the way.
