My Mk II back from paint shop

Featured Replies

Decided to have my grille painted matte black when it was in for a repair (stupid parking accident). I think it turned out pretty nice. Badgeless lip over the grill, trim surround and trim in bumper are all matte, eyelids and headlamp washers in car's color. post-77740-1338632075646_thumb.jpg

Looks great. Any chance of front on shot??

What model is the roof box?

sorry Quiz but i think that looks very bad.might look better with the badge fitted

Not for me either...I like a bit of brightwork, but each to their own, eh?

I'm no fan of chrome, per se, but can't help but feel it suits the big Superb. Sorry.

Flick of a coin i opinions, I like both. Now where is that fence?

I know it's divided opinions on this, I just wanted a bit more angry look on my family cruiser ;)

I think it's the stance that lets it down.

It's an aggressive front end, yet floating like a boat. The two don't work, IMO. I wouldn't necessarily advocate lowering a Superb - that's hardly what they're about - but if you want it to look more... "GRR"... I think it needs to sit more purposefully.

Oh, and the debadged bit looks like a tumour  Is there a "bulge-free" one available anywhere?

Ok - I think I got the non-likers' point now ;)

No crying now. ;):giggle:

Utterly DISGUSTING :o

I like it.

But I'm nearly the only one here who likes the "outdoors" pack too.

Needs a badge then it'll be just fine

Looks OK, it too looks like you have a bonnet scoop on it in the front on shot!!

There will be no badge on this car, hence the Milotec badge cover on the boot, and the mod shown in first post.

Just wanted to show this as an option for people who want a different front, don't really care how many others who like it or not ;)

I like the brown L&K interior as well - it looks great!

I like it but the grille badge does look odd, it would look good with the new badge

Also to others if you do not like it just say that, there is no reason to be rude :dull:

Nice little job done there but not to my taste. As bluvrs2 says it could do with a badge and perhaps the new style may suit it.

When I decided to debadge it, the new badge hadn't reached the shelves yet. That's why I ordered the badgeless grill top cover, and I don't think it's possible to fit a badge on it.

I think the new badge would have looked great on it ;):giggle:

It's a personal thing I know, but I don't like the new badge. Saw one on the new Citigo last week and wasn't keen. Having thought it was new it seems that the new badge is very similar to what was used pre-VW ownership in the days of the Favorit etc

Well your next updated Skoda will have them like it or not, the Laurel leave ones were so poor ( always delaminating ) and it is not like Skoda are class winners in Rallying any more
