Hello GeoffCk! I was baffled by your reference to 'un-environmental' malachite, so I Googled. This jumped out at me --

http://crystal-cure.com/malachite.html

'Malachite is believed to be a strong protector of children. It is said to protect the wearer from accidents and protects travelers......'

Can't be all that bad, then!!

Sorry Yetifan, I meant it wasn't a GreenLine Yeti, but your research is very reassuring.

Cheers

All updates mentioned in this thread added to sheet (I hope).

As a general point its better if people PM their order details, as I dont always follow this thread, especially now that the numbers of reported orders and delays seem to have reduced in the recent months.

I initially created the sheet to track the length of time (for many - inc us, it was a 6 month wait) from order to delivery.

Thanks, it is useful to see what others are buying, colours etc and delivery estimates.

Can anyone who has ordered a factory fit towbar clarify one thing for me, please? Do you still have to pay for towbar prep as well?

I think (which is what happened to me) the towbar is fitted by the dealer (who subbies the work out quite often) even tho you add it to the factory order.

To answer your question - Yes you still have to pay for the tow bar prep, although there may well be people with other ideas....

My spec was 'Removable towbar with full caravan electrics'. The dealer converted this into factory towbar prep plus dealer towbar fit, electrics and coding.

Very much doubt it

Sounds like the usual SUK confusion AGAIN! :wall:

Ah, yes... In the estuary, just west of Spurn Head. But doesn't the yellow anchor symbol mean she's sinking?

Ooh you are awful !

She's safely alongside now & the Yeti has got a long road trip coming up - from Grimsby all the way down to Helston probably more at risk then than out at sea !

Won't do much mortorway driving once it gets down here - we don't have motorways :giggle: but the Cornish lanes are much more scary !

Sorry - couldn't resist  ! Yes, the lanes do get a bit twiddly down your way; you'll be alright with the 1.2 - not good for a diesel with a DPF. Enjoy, and mind the 'hedges'!

Jerry - Would be great if you could put some pictures up. I want to see what shark blue looks like.

Saw a very smart & very clean white Yeti in Newlyn this morning - would have loved to have had a white one, but have to be honest - I'm not great at washing the car every week etc and I live down a lane that's often covered in mud from tractors - so it's Cappuccino for me

Wonder how long they sit in Grimsby before they set off on their road trip - B)

Have recently been wondering if anyone has done this and, if so, have you noticed any benefits or downsides?

Ok had a few minutes spare. So quick upload pictures below....

Very nice! - Thanks for posting.

I've got a better idea of what mine will look like now. If I could just ask one favour - could you stop off at Wickes on the way home & get a pot of trade white emulsion for me.

If you'd be kind enough to splash it on the roof & take a couple more pics, that would really help

Edit: P.S: I do like those wheels. I've learnt over the years that the best looking wheels are the ones that are the easiest to keep clean - those look good as they appear to minimise the dirt-traps.
