Time for Rossi to retire?

Not actually Vale-specific, but don't forget that the Dutch TT will be on Saturday not Sunday.

  • Brilliant ride, brilliant result, brilliant lap times, could have been up with Lorenzo if he'd been closer at the start Thank heavens he ditched Ducati

  • Lorenzo's gates at his home in Los Montesinos. This is just along from where my mother lives. BTW, I don't think rossi is past it.

Good shout, always forget they hold Assen on the Saturday.

Lorenzo had a bad crash today and looks to have messed his shoulder up.

A Winner today,

Well that was why The 'Doctor of Love', did not retire, what a Dude.

Great ride from Rossi today, but that was something else from Lorenzo with a broken body

Wish Cal would learn to launch a bike like the others or get the quick gear change the others have as well.

Rossi, so pleased for him.

Lorenzo, what a man, must have been in so much pain. Typical boxer mentality, the focus exercises he did on the grid were helping but strength left him a bit at the half way stage. Dani suffered as he goes on these muscle tracks as he has not got the weight and size.

Good day for Yamaha over Honda to keep the championship race interesting.

Well done Scott Redding in Moto2 as well.

That was just brilliant! Everyone's a winner apart from Pedrosa.

How did. Lorenzo do that??? It takes 4 weeks for a collar bone to heal and 8 weeks to regain full strength????

And he's even got Monster Energy logos :)

Great win for Rossi, shame Cal couldn't quite get second. Unlucky that he was right up the pipes of Marquez on that corner when he had whatever issue. As Coxy said if it had been car racing you'd have accused him of brake testing Cal.

Ok, so the Doctor is back in the house! :-D

As others, Cal might have had second if he'd not tagged a slow MM.

Marquez needs to keep an eye on Crutchy and I mean not just on track!

Definitely a Nuts magazine 'Stealth bumming' moment, right down to the cheeky grin!!!

Marquez showing the old hands the way around Laguna seca ATM! First time ever at track..... Impressive!

Bit of a reality check there for Crutchlow. Stop thinking/making demands about next year and concentrate on this year, the 2 guys in front of you had broken collar bones (no matter how good riders they are). Oh and waving your arms about in pit lane (during qualifying) like a diva wont make you any friends.

Another podium for Rossi, and not too far back, although Bautista was a bit too close for comfort

Looks like the consistency could be coming back  :)

Quick change gearbox, like Honda has had for a while, cannot come quick enough or Yamaha.

After Saxon-ring;s two Yamahas on the podium Laguna was a bit disappointing.

Cal's starts are repeated poor and maybe the gearbox does not help but Rossi's start was brilliant.

Ducati in disarray, they need a miracle (or rain) to get a podium it seems.

Looking forward to seeing Suzuki back at MotoGP and wish Kawasaki would return also.

On another note sad about the SuperSport rider Antonelli's death in Moscow. Track did not look to good, hopefully FIA will learn from the accident.

Casey stoner has been testing a Honda moto gp bike I believe! Things not working out with V8 car racing ( not fast enough) .

He'll get a bloody nose if he comes back and races Marquez!

Interesting article here, I hadn't realised that Melandri ended up seeing a shrink after being unable to deal with the Ducati!

Well Crutchlow has made his decision and he'll live or die by it,as they say. Given Ducati's form since Stoner and the fact no other bugger could/can ride it with confidence (even Stoner said he would get ignored if he told the team about problems with the bike) the smart money has to be on a completely disastrous career move.

foolish move for cal in my eyes.

half the rider rossi was when he moved to ducati and even with multiple champ winning rider they couldnt do anything.

Don't write Cals chances off just yet. As you all know Audi owns Ducati and they have been working very very hard on the 2014 bike and have employed a top British engineer ( can't remember name) who will make that bike work. Audi have spent a few £££ on the new bike as well.

Cal is not daft so should be interesting next year.

Oh this is a clip of some guy called Stoner playing on the 2014 RCV. Good chance he could be back in 2014 as the works teams can run 3 riders.

Rossi 9th in qualifying for US GP

Not good  :(

Must have been riding a scooter.

I can't quite gauge Rossi this year. In some races he's looked right on the tail of the leaders, and yet others he's as far back as he was on the Duke :/

Must have been riding a scooter.

I would have been quicker :)
