Just thought I'd throw this up here!
I owned this car a few years back, sold it to another enthusiast who kept it as I did,
He asked me at the start of the year if I knew anybody interested in buying it, so I bought it myself!!
Here it was first time I had it

vrs4.jpg

In the meantime, I had to downgrade as my wife had a baby and funds were tight!!
This is what I was driving, spent a fortune to get it this way!!!

Anyway, back to the vRS!!!

The spec is something like this:

18'' Zeniths
Dual Climate
Cruise Control
Front/Rear Electric Windows
Maxidot
Jumbo Box
Plus all the other usual vRS extra's

I had it fitted with these
H&R Cup kit suspension and -20mm springs
Columbus RNS 510 sat nav
Aluminium seat insert and footrest
HIDS4U Xenon kit
Rear window tints

Some interior shots

2 Tone!

I then bought it back, first thing to do was to get a Carbonio Intake and panel filter

I know there are better intakes available, but I've had these in mk5 Gti's before and liked them

Also got some H&R 15mm spacers on the rear

I also got the front grille colour coded

Might as well update this, got a set of 18'' A8 flat fives today,

2 need a refurb, but 2 are good, so I fitted a pair of 235/40/18 tyres for a test fit!

Delighted with the results

Thanks, I had a set of them on my mk4 Gti last year but they were polished and always wondered what they would look like on a vRS!

Here's the one's I had last year

Anyway, back to the vRS,

I fitted my superb cat vision light today, bought it a few months ago, but never got around to fitting until now!

Painted matt black, I also fitted the old front interior light into the rear so now have individual map reading lights in the back

Here they are finally fitted after the refurb!

Also changed the German plates for plastic ones as every second car here in Ireland has German plates now!

Then I added the yellow lamin-x film to the fog lights.

I've had a few expensive bills lately with this and was starting to lose heart, thought about selling it.

I'd never get back what I've put into it, and the thought of stripping it back to standard didn't appeal to me, did that on my last Gti and it broke my heart doing it!

Anyway, I've decided to keep it, and yesterday I bought a new set of wheels and a few other bits for it, should have them in the next few weeks,

I decided to debadge the rear yesterday,

Amazing how something so simple can look so much better!

The Audi A8 wheels are now removed and up for sale if anyone is interested.

I'll update more when my new bits and pieces arrive!!!

Few small updates here,

I got a pair of engine caps in black, the coolant cover and the washer bottle cover, was going to just paint the original blue covers black but they wouldn't look as good painted

After

I also got a TorqueTronix high pressure fuel pump (HPFP)

Haven't had a chance to really test out how much difference it makes over stock fuel pump, but should make the car even better and faster than it already is with the remap

While I was changing it over, I got a new cam follower fitted aswell

That's all for now,

Oh, I nearly forgot, got these too....

19'' Genuine Phaeton Helios for those who don't know what they are! :p
