Here's a few pictures, I'm really happy how it looks!

Anyway, forgive my (lack of) skill with a camera, here's a few other pictures I took!

Hopefully the suspension will settle down a bit when I drive it, only drove less than a mile to take the pictures, so we'll see!

I'm surprised at how comfortable it still is on the 215/35/19 tyres, was expecting it to be a back breaker, I'm old and like my comfort!!

Thanks, happy with the way it looks and drives after a few days on various roads, both good and bad!

Only thing I want to change is the ride height, so the cup kit is bring replaced with some coilovers,

Anybody interested in the cup kit, let me know,

I'm interested. How long has it been on? Price?

  • Author

Think I'm going to hold onto the cup kit until I'm sure the coilovers aren't too harsh,

I'll put them up for sale at a later stage, thanks

Pm me when you do? Really like the look of yours mate.

I got them from superskoda, ordered them on Sunday, got them today.

The fit is perfect, the bonnet release lever has to be cut down, but it is easily opened, loads of room to put your fingers through the grille to open it.

Here it is compared to the original grille

Here's the bonnet release before

Cut down

Both upper and lower grille's fitted

Delighted with the results!

Took around an hour to do the both of them.

My next addition should add even more to the look with those grilles fitted!!

So can you still open the bonnet? haha

Very nice car mate!!

Ill have to keep an eye out for it round Dublin.

They look familiar. I am really pleased with mine. I got a new front grille one so I can fit it cutting the lever down. Even though you hardly notice the slot.

Nice Motor, Like it  . Nice stance, colour and like the mods too.

I got these light's the other day,

IMAG0931.jpg

Just test fitted one of them to see what they look like!

IMAG0934.jpg

They look really well from that angle, but from the side the indicator being clear ruins it I think

IMAG0937.jpg

I'm going to lamin-x the indicator with light tint to make it all dark,

Love the look with the Helios :) Makes me want a sett to mine :) get it down now and its a winner! :D

When you lamin-x'd the fogs, did you leave the lights in situ or remove them?

  • Author

Thanks Stamsaas, I have a set of H&R coilovers but think I'll wait until after Christmas to fit them when the weather gets better, don't want it too low in case we get some snow!

Davey, I left the fog lights in position, just removed the blue plastic surrounds and used a heatgun to get them on without air bubbles.

Cheers Mark. Had it on my to do list for a while! And it does look ace on the Helios...

Thanks! It's going back on the 18'' Zeniths tomorrow, want to get the Helios off before the weather gets too bad!

H&R Twintubes

Have You got these yet?

  • Author

No not yet, will have them this week but they won't be going on the car until the new year,

Hadn't got any proper high resolution pictures up of the car with the honeycomb grilles and darkened headlights, so got a few today after I gave it a clean! I still haven't mastered my DSLR yet, but there not too bad!

I never bothered putting the zeniths back on for the winter, hasn't been that cold this year so should be ok!

I'm planning on changing the yellow Lamin-x film on the fog lights for some dark tint, would suit the dark look better I think...

Hope ye don't mind so many pics!!
