  • You won't catch anything from a track day though.........except maybe the bug for wanting to do another one

  • I cant wait for this! I don't mind what time it is, its only 3 miles away from my house Adam

  • Yes please, 4x4 Yeti rather than 260bhp Fabia on semi-slicks.

If I had noticed you was going to this I would had paid you for the Group Buy on the day.

See you all there in the morning

Well It was good to meet everyone!

I was stonking round in the qualifying... I managed a best lap time of 1:33.866 Just over a second a lap slower than a Radical SR1

Unfortunately half of my turbo is now in my exhaust - On my first timed lap pulling out the pits... The turbo went poof and lots of white smoke, So I didnt get a proper timed lap in unfortunately!

It was nice to meet you guys today. Only four of us, but it was still a great time.

Shame your turbo blew Adam, but at least you got a fair bit of practice in and only lost two laps. You were really flying out there!

However, you not setting a time left the Yeti with top spot in the timed laps. I managed a 1:36.08-something.

Very impressed with the Yeti yet again!

I'll put some photos and stuff up later/when I get chance. And times if nobody does it first.

Cheers, Richard, you are indeed a driving god - how you can make a Yeti go around a track that quickly is beyond me

Felt gutted for Adam when his turbo went pop, but then it might spur him onto bigger and better things more quickly than anticipated?

Michael's time was also very impressive for a standard car (except for the TD Pro Race 1.2s and Paradas)

And then there was yours truly, Captain Slow....................................c o c k!

And I was the oldest one there, so I'm bound to be slow

In my defence, my engine light was gleaming brightly on the dash at the end of the practice session, and I was all for not doing the two timed laps at the end, then I thought WTF and did them anyway

The times below are the timed session, and I'm chuffed I managed to screw out another 4+ seconds over practice

Was good to meet you too Brimma.

I was gutted about not being able to put a final timed lap in!!! grrr

Although to be fair I did give it a bit of stick.

Not worried about the car at all - A hybrid turbo will be ordered! roll on 220+bhp

I got it to the road and decided not to drive it, So towed it home! So Glad it was only 2 miles!!

Mine got me home in one piece, although I took it pretty steady

Just need to do a Vagcom scan to see what might have gone pear-shaped

Some pictures from the day.

I have more obviously, but have blanked the plates out on the other cars here as I don't know if the drivers like them splashed over the interweb.

The Brisky Boys.

Nice one, Richard, look forward to seeing the cornering shots

Had a brilliant day, really happy with my time for what is a standard car. I think if I had bigger b*lls like Richard I could have been quicker.

Brakes had a little too much travel on them on the journey back home. Not surprising as it's the 2nd how fast on the same fluid.

Can't wait for the next one!

Gutted i didn't make it to this one.

Must have been an "interesting" practise hour with all the other machinery out there.

Shall try to get another one organised - maybe a little less near a load of regular tracker's deading off into Europe.

Next May would be good IMO Pasty.

A regular one or two a year to have a bit of fun and meet up would be good.

Hopefully I'll have the Citygo whizzing around next time.

Count me in!!!

I'll be there!

Count me in next time

Be amazing to see the citygo smashing everything up ;-)

Would love to have a go at this too I think :-)

I see everyone's coming out of the woodwork now it's been and gone

At least it means more Brisky members for next time!

But don’t forget there were 9 names down for this one :(

I am 110% for the next oné ;-)

If I can get my car a bit more track prepped I'd be down for another session
