Briskoda How Fast Event #2

Featured Replies

Count me in for the next one as well! Winter ones can be real fun with very little grip, engines sucking in lots of oxygen from cold air so driving skills will be at a premium! I can't wait for my All Black vRS-week 43 checked today...????

  • You won't catch anything from a track day though.........except maybe the bug for wanting to do another one

  • I cant wait for this! I don't mind what time it is, its only 3 miles away from my house Adam

  • Yes please, 4x4 Yeti rather than 260bhp Fabia on semi-slicks.

I'll consider this. I do want more track time but when would it be?

Probably nexy April or May Martyn, they are usually within a few weeks of the Castle Combe days.

But it's open often if you just want to go along. It is better in a group though.

Oh I'd want to go with Brisky lot at least at first. I'll definitely look into it though

There's one down in Llandow like that I'm tempted with. Only 10 allowed on track at a time for 20min stints and it's 9-5 with dinner break. It's £80 but if it's like Castle Combe where's there's hundreds waiting to go on it won't make sense money wise when per person with Briskoda for 15mins is £35

Brands has also £25 20mins taster sessions for novices ;)

Llandow is 190miles from me :(

They won't let me on Novice Only sessions. :(

Days organised like this with sessions are usually very good to learn on.

Because you have to let your car rest for an hour(or so) between sessions you get a solid hour divided up into segments.

For a few ££ extra they'll have instructors to come out with you too and it's well worth it for a couple of times.

I did this at Brands for my first track day last August and it was very good.

ha ha ha i wonder why !!! lol nissan skyline with lots of bhp and a man that can clearly drive it would say your more in the advanced group !!

you can come with me and give me some pointers ;-)

There is a Snetterton Road Car Only for £110 by Club MSV - 7 x 20 mins all day. Sounds really good to me. And if my vRS is not with me by then I would take the Lupo and show how it's done ;).

BTW, any ideas as how to get a set light , heavily banged up to make them cheap alloys for track days? Breakers?
