After having had the rears fitted for about 2 months and waiting for supplier to send the correct sized front dampers (was sent 50mm, needed 55mm) the front's turned up last week and had them fitted yesterday.

Initially just having the rears done made a huge difference, back felt completely planted while cornering with no added harshness.

The front (and back) is more subtle, not had a chance to throw it about too much yet but the big difference is in the comfort.

The B12 kit is actually more comfortable then the standard setup. It seems more firmly damped but softer sprung so less crashing over potholes, etc.

All in all, delighted with the B12 kit and have no hesitation in recommending it.

I wouldn't recommend buying from Lighting Tuning in Germany though.

That's interesting to know.

Currently debating wether to just fix the car up with a couple of OEM shocks (rears are already good) or to do the lot and keep the car.

If I could find a decent supplier willing to do the B12 kit for the sub £500 mark, then I'd probably just go straight for it and save myself the OEM repair route.

Out of interest, what premium increase did your insurance co decide was appropriate for the shocks?

I might have a dig and find out if there are any suppliers willing to do a group buy price on the B12 if there was interest.

It's some springs and dampers - I bought them for handling rather than lowering but will get some pics once it's parked on level ground (driveway at about 30 degrees).

Sorry to hear about your experience with Lightening Tuning as it was me that suggested that they might be worth a look. I had no problems at all with my B12 purchase...a good reputation has to be based upon consistency of service, and sadly it would appear that these guys aren't there yet.

Easiest way it to simply copy the image url and paste it in your post. Hyperlinks to Dropbox rarely work even in your public folders

I was just wondering, what's in the kit?

You get shocks and springs.

Do you get dust covers or bump stops (Rear only as IIRC they're built in at the front)?

Do you get new nuts or bolts etc, or just the top nut that connects the upper piston to the mount?
