Anyone know security screwfor MAF sensor removing

Featured Replies

As above, that size seems to be the only one not in my torx and lock screws set. cheers

That torx screw has a pin in side so you need a special bit for it not sure of its size sorry. If your changing the Maf You don't need to touch those torx screws . Cleaning a Maf has mixed results so I'd just buy a new one.

If desperate to remove use some long nose mole grip or pliars around it and remove. Or grind a line out of it for flat head screwdriver

I picked up a set of Laser 5 point stars with security pin from my local Halfords.

As above 5 point security star bits ;-) i bought a set a few years ago... never been used :-(

I borrowed the tool to remove these stupid screws and replaced them with pozidrive head self-tappers. Idiot detail.

rotodiesel.

I have a similar set, but in a blue plastic case. I think the cost was around £10 and it has been very useful for coping with a variety of security fasteners on various electric appliances and even toys.

Just found this at Maplins:
