vRS mud flaps

Featured Replies

Can these be bought from Skoda for the vRS?....or is it the same situation as the Octavia II vRS,that Skoda say their flaps don't fit the vRS model but in reality they can be made to fit?

They fit fine have them on mine

There are no vRS specific mudflaps. Only Fabia hatchback and Fabia Combi mudflaps. Fabia hatchback mudflaps fit fine prefacelift and facelift models including the vRS.

Those on ebay arn't OEM

OEM ones don't come with screws as you use the arch liner screws and no drilling is required

Fabia mud flaps fit all Fabia's

Monte Carlos may require somewhat different tho.

george

normal skoda fabia midflaps fit fine. see my build thread.

You may be getting confused with the mk1 Fabia. The OEM ones fitted the front, but due to the different shaped rear bumper of the vRS, the rear flaps did not fit.

No drilling was required, it just came with its own slightly longer screws but they went in the same arch liner holes

oem mud flaps DO FIT.

What different rear bumper? All MKIIs have the same bumper and the same holes in the splash guards where the mud flaps get attached. As for the Monte's rear diffusor which goes across the bumper there you could have an issue installing the mudflaps but I can't be certain. Only a Monte owner can help out.

I was talking about the Mk1 Fabia vRS (like mine), not the mk2. I've been told OEM ones don't fit the rear of Mk1 Fabia vRS or Octavia vRS. I think it's because they have a deeper bumper.

Ok got confused.

Got more pics of these mudflaps? I like the original ones I got on but they are too long and still the back gets very dirty.

Are yours made of hard plastic? or they are rubbery and elastic like the Skoda ones?

I'll take a few more and get them up and they are a hard plastic

Due to the Monte Carlo rear arch trims, an owner has to select suitable 'flaps' for fitting.
