Christ mate. I bet your a riot at party's. I'm closer to 40 than 30 and don't appreciate being referred to as a kid, simply because I'm looking forward to getting my Blackline. In my opinion, kids d

They try that every time the robbing fecks! I told them to fix it anyway last time and they were happy to.

Not really, I have been tracking it online. It was ordered and shipped Tuesday and will arrive today. I ordered the green connector one as there's clips on the quadlock to hold it in (different to the old style which is the black one). Did you order the same one?

Yeah after reading all your really useful info in the amundsen thread I too ordered the green connector cable:

If yours fits OK can you please confirm with us  I still have at least another week before my Blackline arrives before I can even consider fitting it hehe

Its a difficult one, I've seen it and it is quite wide, not sure if they are pulling a fast one or not but don't want to chance it.

Take pics of the install ;)

Hi, i've been following the forum for a few weeks and ordered a new Race Blue Blackline DSG. I've been told its two weeks away still at the port across the water. Fine with me as i've got to sell my A4 Sline.

First on the list of things to do is order the Mic! Is it defo this one ......

Hi.

Ordered the same car/colour (hatch). Should be getting it in about a week! In fact it should be on the ship that has just left Emden........

On the cable front you may want to wait until Welsh_kai_boy fits it later today and reports back. I have ordered the cable too as it is likely to be the correct cable but you may as well wait.

Just popped into the dealer,

Mine is at Tyne port (knew that 2 days ago) and has been registered to a transporter so dealer reckons it 'could' only be a couple of days till they get it.

10 out of 10 to them for still not being able to give me a date tho, surely they have a list of what cars are getting delivered to the dealership on what date.

Couldn't agree more. Just a tracking website would do.

the trackmyskoda.com website doesn't work because it is for 2 dealers up country somewhere that clubbed together and created the site for their customers only.

I politely told SUK that it would be prudent to have something like this for all of their customers......

Finally been told that my car has left Emden and should be in the UK in 1-3 days depending on loading/unloading times.

Skoda registered my order as being placed on the 27th of september, although I am sure I was in a few days earlier than that!

Hope this helps people still waiting to figure out their delivery times.

I should be getting my hands on the car by the end of next week I guess?

Has anyone taken delivery of a white estate yet, or are these the last ones to be shipped?

Ordered my Blackline Octavia candy white DSG on the 27/09/12 dealer informs me it will be ready to pick up next week. The dealer Simpsons of Preston has offered a choice of black or alloy wheels no cost. I would expect all single make skoda dealers will do the same, multi franchis dealers ???

As a matter of interest i have part exchanged a candy white Fabia 1.2tsi. dsg elegance on a 61 plate. Does anybody have any idea what the fuel consumption difference will be. I realise its petrol v diesel but driven the same they look similar. Most of my driving is long motorway runs 200+ miles each way so i would have thought diesel would edge it.

Local dealer tried to activate Bluetooth as per quite a few posts on this thread.

They used the Skoda VCDS system and genuinely tried to get it going as it would have saved me a lot of money!

However they said it came up as not installed on the unit. This means if all you guys have ordered a mic it may be pointless.

I have only just taken delivery of my VRS Blackline so I am a little confused as to what is going on, as is the dealership.

Would appreciate it if Welch Kai Boy could confirm that he has activated the BT for definite so we can get this sorted!

Anybody else had any success?

Dealers use VAS as opposed to VCDS so it might be why they've not been able too? Also I think Bluetooth modules live under the drivers seat so a quick look under there will be able to determine whether there is one at all. It'll have a foam surround.

BT is in the headunit but GSM iii install is under the drivers seat.

I am just uploading a ton of pictures so I can start to write the "How To" for all you Blackline owners. Works perfect, spoke to my wife on a test drive rather than sit outside the house and do it.

Very good... Efforts are well appreciated. No point in asking my dealer then to enable this as they use different software...Shame i already did lol

My vRS Blackline is apparently at my dealer - tomorrow morning viewing  & taking delivery on Monday pm

NOTE: Finance deal has now changed? New takers must borrow 50% & pay for at least 6 months :@

Fortunately I got in before the changes - BE WARY - could cost £hundreds extra :wall:

I'll try to upload pics over the weekend

If the finance deal had changed i'll be well pi**ed off. Surely the deal was that which was on the table at the point of ordering and paying the deposit. In my case back on 23 Aug.

hi have been following this bluetooth activaction with some interest, and have asked skoda dealer to look at this for me when i take my blackline for monthly check. but it seems they wont have the software to activate it .

can you tell me who would be able to activate it ?

Yes I've been told that I have to borrow 50%, however I've not seen the T&Cs that say I can't pay back straight away. There is a sort of early payment penalty (2 months interest) however I believe you can get around this by paying all of it of bar £10. Then pay the £10 of the next day and only incur the 2 months interest on the £10. However I haven't seen the small print yet so they may have put a stop to that ?

I think it relates to WHEN you had the finance application approved - in my case 19 Sept as I insisted they approved the credit in case there was a get-out for them on the servicing & £500 "contribution"......

This was then printed - although I only signed today

I ordered on the 29th Sept, I tried to ask for the 30% deal but they said the lowest was 50%. However it doesn't matter what % as long as you can pay a lump sum off.

I haven't even applied for finance yet. I only want to borrow about £4000 and I don't mind seeing out the full 24 months. There's no way I want to borrow 50% (I.e. about £8000). I signed up on the basis that I would be borrowing £4000 from Skoda and that's what my order form says. I hope I don't end up having to have a disagreement with the dealer and asking for my deposit back.
