And yes you can get cams, although getting dirty torque to map darkside cams would be amusing lol

Is it what you mentioned to me?

  • Author

Haha never knew about cams for these! Cool will have to do some extra research :)

Something similar Charlie :)

Window tints. They are both interior and exterior and not mechanical. If not im still proud of that guess.

Or maybe not as you already have them dont you?

  • Author

Indeed I already have them :)

Something I've been after for a while but don't think I've ever mentioned it on here.

A wash...?

  • Author

Had one last week although tomorrow it will get a interior clean and clean up the protein powder I accidentally spilt on my parcel shelf today. Wind is a bitch when mixing shakes on the go!

Just placed an order for 2 Rainsport RS3s.

Tyres arrived today will get fitted start of next week.

Took the car over to coskev's house last night where it was left to cool over night and then Kev fitted my PD150 head bolts this morning! At the same time he sorted out my engine mgmt light which was a dodgy glow plug and also switched the maps over to the higher one. Feels great to be running the big map again, can easily tell the difference after running about on the lower map the last couple of weeks.

Anyway thanks Kev :)

How long does it take to change the head bolts?

Great news Dan.

If it's an ASZ less than an BLT as the inlet manifold needs loosening off to get too 2 of the bolts.

I'm not sure how long it takes mate, he was pretty much done when I got there this morning but I think it's about an hour :)

No probs Dan :)

Car goes very well indeed B)

As Dan says,BLT is a bit more work as the two headbolts at the back on the EGR side of head won't lift out without slackening off the inlet manifold retaining bolts and moving the manifold back a bit.

ASZ is doable in a hour,BLT depends how big your hands are for getting to the inlet manifold bolts!!! :)

Awesome, I may see if anyone can sort it for me :)

For fitting head bolts.. do you remove the whole head and fit new gasket or just change one bolt at a time ? Thanks

Some pics, excuse the mess on the rear tyres, I'd washed the car then had the tyres fitted, will have to clean the wheels and tyres again tomorrow.
