Dan's GTB1756 Powered Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

They sound lovely. My exhaust wasn't that loud really it was the K&N but it did sound awesome. I was going to decat it but it sounded that good I didn't dare incase it sounded ****.

That's the only car I've never lowered because the bolt for the struts always snap and they're hardened so they're a pain to drill out so I kept saying when it needs a new spring I'll lower it but it never did :(

The amount of vectra gsi's amd st24's I raced in that, good times :)

Haha really Alex :( and I'm still yet to spot you!

Yup mate, it's mad isn't it! I must be one of the more likely ones to spot you considering you're back and forth to Mold a lot...  It's alright mate, we'll meet up soon :-)

You're a bit ahead of me with the car though mate! Apart from the leather of course ;-)  I'm a lucky swine to have factory leather! Saying this, I'd bloody love some cloth seats right about now, as they are bloody COLD in the mornings!!! In an ideal world I'd have Golf heated Recaro's re-trimmed to match my rears.

There should be an update by now Dan ;)

Thanks Southy, it's changed a fair bit. Hard to imagine it standard again. I always forget to update Instagram!

Feels amazing! Been running the big power map for a couple of weeks now, still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it :)

Looks awesome Dan :) you finally got your leather

I took that pic practically in the dark but came out light on my phone - strange!

Wind noise reduced and will keep the mrs happy as I can get a bit of air without it making much noise and making the car freezing as she's always cold and I'm always hot lol!

Nice touch dan, goes well on the tints.

I'm surprised that plod didn't get you for your front tints mate!

Thanks Joe, I never was a massive fan of them. Be handy when we go to shows etc get a bit of air while the missis is sat there with her teeth clattering lol at 4am in the morning.

Haha I think I'd have been in jail, they aren't that dark really, they look dark in that pic - I don't know why that picture came out like that - it was quite dark when I took it.

Also I tend to drop the front windows when I see police if I'm quick enough :)

Looks great Dan :)

Couple of deliveries yesterday, possibly get it fitted today depending on how strong the wind is, I don't fancy being struck on the back of the head with the bonnet!

What is it???

Ignore the blue insulation tape, I wanted to pack the duct out a little to make it tighter fit for the hose, will put some black sealant in there eventually I think. Car feels a bit more responsive now I think.

Also removed the rain flap

If anyone could link me to some cable that I can use to run the battery to the boot that would be great - then I need an idea to make a box for it :)

The JP160 strikes again.
