Best wipers for price

Featured Replies

Hi all

Just bought some retrofit flat blades about 2 weeks ago from wiperblades.co.uk and they are awful!

Juddering under heavy rain and constantly leaving a huge smudge right in my line of view

What brand is everyone else using? I don't want to spend a fortune :)

Thanks

I bought some aero flat wipers from Walkingshaws car world, Iguana the makes called but they are rubbish and constantly judder and smear the windscreen. I'm going to buy a set of Bosch aero flat wipers, they may cost more but deffo be worth it.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too... Seen the set for about £23

Ah, see I found the opposite with wiperblades.co.uk aero blades.

I had Bosch aero wipers, and they were crap from about within about 1 month after fitting. I've had the wiperblades ones on for 6 months or so and they're still great, at 1/3 the price of the Bosh ones.

Have you tried cleaning your glass? Perhaps it's not the blade that's rubbish..

I use Ebay £7 the pair delivered flat aero ones and they are brilliant.

Tried valeo ones. Massive judder, enough to wake sleeping passengers! Went back to Bosch, not perfect but not bad. £20 ish iirc.

Best ones ever are from the store called Wilkinsons. Cheap at £2each. Smooth and clean the screen amazingly well. Much better than bosch and valeo oem ones I used to buy from vw or Eurocarparts. For some reason the bosch ones always stopped working well after a very short time. The Wilkinson ones work really well and bonus are dirt cheap too.

The wiperblades.com ones are better than my ebay specials m8..

I've got bosch aeros, miles better than the Valeos which were on the Polo before. Cost me about £25 posted on fleabay :)

The wiperblades.com ones are better than my ebay specials m8..

When i had my 182 it had their own brand on it, they were good. I bought eBay specials to replace them, and they were identical.

Doesn't always happen that way thought, so just saying :)
