I'd have thought so Adam. Their rollers under read compared to amd's so I'd need to go back to next rr day to compare.

Amd was 197bhp and 300lbs ft

Arrived at dirty torque and it was 187bhp and 275lbs ft

After the tweaking it was 204bhp and 340lbs ft

Goes like stink :)

Been for a bit of a drive in the wet today. Rounabout exits are fantastic :) the diff really pulls you around the corner

Not a cheap mod, but well worth it for any power level over a remap IMO.

getting better mate :) looking forward to seeing your car at coomb :)

Agreed, it's not the cheapest, but by far one of the most worthwhile mods for the car

New vibratechnics engine and gearbox mount arrived today. Will get them fitted soon :)

Would anyone recommend fitting an oil cooler?

Other than that I think the car is complete mechanically.

Just a few cosmetics to finish

i need a ride in this

Oil cooler a definite yes, also make sure it's thermostatically controlled.

Ever considered geting LFB enabled in the map, so you can load the diff up?

What's LFB? Never heard of it.

How do you get a thermostatically controlled oil cooler? Was looking at a mocal one

i have the engine mount and is a good piece of kit, gearbox one on its way. Looked into a oil cooler myself, but thats as far as i got, will perhaps go for one towards the end of the year

The take off which routes engine oil to a cooler (radiator) is called a sandwhich plate. Sandwhich plates can come with or without a thermostat.

LFB = left foot braking.

never fit a oil cooler without a Thermal sandwich plate.  causes all kinds of beef.

i have a 19 row MOCAL cooler for my octy charlie. i would not buy anything other than mocal tbh as they tried and tested.

This might be of interest with regards to my mentioning of getting LFB enabled with your map...

Ok thanks. I take it from there you can add an oil temp guage if needed?

Yes ideally the most simple, reasonably accurate placement for a temperature sensor is in the sandwhich plate.

You're next easiest install location would be a sump plug mounted sensor such as a "NewSouth Performance PlugPort".  Temperature readings would be a bit more general, rather than accurate from low down in the sump.

Your hottest oil temperature should be that exiting the turbo.

Liking the Vibratechnics engine and gearbox mount upgrade, was considering them for mine.

Do they make much differance Charlie?

Cars coming along nicely, good work :)
