I may settle for a ko3s and a good map. How much is a map out of intrest?

shark peformance £299

depends where you go for the map,

Rtech sposed to be really good, then there is CN Tuning who use Shark maps who are also really good. Clive will look after you too ate CN Tuning ;-)

As for costs of a Hybrid, Ihave emailed AET, CR, TT and TD. had one back from CR iirc and they are not too bad if your turbo is ok to use which I think mine is thank god but if not it is a few 00 more for new side.

even looking at second hand ones they are not cheap anymore and thats when they pop up. 2 have slipped thru my fingers already!

Love this live update on the threads too, He has just beaten me to it..................

Do tell on the price from cr turbo's for a rebuilt on a ko3s with hybrid parts?

if your turbo is perfect to use they will do a stage 2 which is ok for the stock engine for around £735. if they find any cracks in your turbo then it goes up by around 250 notes + vat

not had a reply from any one else yet.

Mines was 835 from aet turbos with a new exhaust housing as it was cracked

wow prices have gone through the roof then on hybrids i guess they put prices up when they became popular !!!!

Mmmm

I am waitin for eat as they seem the best priced from what ive heard.

Who is the best tho?

Aet lol sorry. Got food on my mind lol

I'm not surprised if by 19:03 you haven't eaten yet. ;)

My prawn Pad Thai, weeping tiger, sticky rice, satay and duck spring rolls were delicious, if it helps...

I think that's number 42 at our local Chinese ;)

Ewwwww...

Crispy?

For the K04 conversion you will need the following :

Downpipe (I used a qpeng dp £250)

K04-023 turbo

Bam oil supply pipe for the turbo and drain to sump

Bam water pipe for the turbo

3" maf housing

Bam manifold

Bam tip

Bam injectors

Bam fuelpump

4bar fpr

Mapping( I used shark performance and the did a good job)

G60 flywheel and vr6 clutch

Fmic

Hope that helps :)

I have all of the above apart from a fuel pump, was going to use a walbro pump,it also came with a forge tip, turbo has slight play in the shaft,so may send it away to get checked, also thought about fitting a relentless v3 exhaust manifold at the same time, most people with a ko4 and a good map are seeing around the 290bhp mark,my only worry is the conrods then.

You are getting into rod territory !! Have you got upgraded brakes / suspension etc etc ??

I had mine fitted to a Ibiza Cupra with over 155k on the clock and it was fine with the Rods, then again I think there 20mm wrist pins

Yeah but if hd fits the v3 and get Rtech to map there now pushing these to 300 bhp ;-)

It's true, my mates just had his finished at R tech. K04 AGU with a lot of tasty bits and its made 305bhp on their rollers after mapping. It's an animal.
