  • Ewwww no, that silver mouth... The mkV R32 is just ugly. I'd rather have a mkV Gti than that. Gimme the mkIV R32 any day...

So your using a hybrid turbo but still have the standard intercooler?

sorry to poo on your parade but your engine isnt forged !!

yes pistons are mahle pistons but there not technically forged like je etc forged pistons they are forged very different and not as strong but have seen 700bhp lol in the usa

as for rods the auq has prob the worst oem rods out of most of the 1.8t

they are cast and only have a 19mm wrist pin

rods need to be change if going near the 300ftlb mark

do some searches on auq spec and read up about the engine

i did have a upgrade front mount but made to much turbo lag and took ages to spool up

get an uprated smic, for your power figures, it will work better and have none of the lag of the bigger front mounts

Isn't it the extra pipe work which causes the lag unless the ic is cooking huge ?

yes and the size of the IC itself alongside the type of IC it is itself and its core construction

pressure drop on a good setup should be minimal

luca your alive call me tomoz dude got some news ;-)

I dont notice the difference between the std smic and the Forge FMIC with the same map

like you say it must be the FMIC?

pressure drop on a good setup should be minimal

luca your alive call me tomoz dude got some news ;-)
