So any improvements felt with the pipe or will it need a map adjustment? Guessing a big part of doing this is for strength?

Standard Tip is very restrictive compared to the Supersize one. And yes could do with being custom mapped. Only went for a quick drive as it was raining just to see if all was good so time will tell.

So today went from good to bad to ugly to amazing.

Took a trip to Brands Hatch to meet with the Brisky crew. Signed on had briefing went out and blew off lower intercooler hose. Limped back to pits. Fell over flat on my face exiting the garage and didn't see a step. Fixed boost pipe then had an amazing time.

Visited TPS to get some bits today. The rear bumper insert had a couple of scuffs.

So out with the old. It's amazing how much crud gets behind stuff !

But thanks to Poorboys detailer all clean.

And in with the new.

Now the thing that concerns me is the insert seems too short and leaves a gap where trim ends and bumper recess starts.

Anyone else had this problem ?

While at TPS also picked up some Audi TT jacking rubber things. If anyone wants any I can get a set for £24 plus postage. Let me know. Was going to get them fitted but sun is out so filled Octy with V Power and went out to play.

These jacking pads are fitted to chassis on removal of blanking grommet. Will save the sills getting crushed when jacking up vehicle. Will try and fit tomorrow.

What diameter are the Jack pads Pete?

I'm wondering whether Skoda use a universal size blanking grommet, if so they could be handy for other models too.

Below was taken from Awesome GTI website.

This 8 piece jack pad kit with Rubber stoppers and plastic bungs allows for a secure point on your car when using a trolley jack.

Using these jacking points instead of your sills carries much less risk of damage.

This kit will fit:

- Audi TT 8N (Mk1)

- Volkswagen Golf Mk4

- Volkswagen Bora

- Seat Leon Mk1

- Seat Toledo Mk2

- Skoda Octavia Mk1

But as you say may also fit others.

I need a set pete, had my car in the air at work to have a look around and the sills are messed up already. Will be dollying them straight and under sealing as soon as cash allows. Miss my bmws jack pads, no guessing required on that car.

Ohh sunshine again today. So rear wheels off cleaned and sealed with Wheelwhores wax. Cleaned wheel arches and suspension components and re painted calipers with Hammerite smooth green. It's so much easier to jack up now thanks to the addition of the TT jacking pads.
