Very Very nice josh!.

go on, what tyre sizes are you using? lol

Front is a 6 inch rim, so I'm rocking 195/45/16's

Rear is an 8 inch rim, so I'm rolling on 215/40/16's

I keep scraping my under-engine tray, so it's going to have to be raised a little at the front :(

Like I'm looking in a mirror mate. :D

I now tackle "lump" speed bumps by making sure one wheel goes right over it, not try and straddle it like before. Had any nice metallic knocks & bangs too? When going in and out of potholes? :)

Car looks nice though.

Hey.. actually that looks lower than Jasons car!

where did you get the rims???

I nicked them.

cool,get us a set :D

Nah, seriously I got them off eBay.

They were in desperate need of a refurb, so I took them to "The Wheel Clinic" in Sheffield, and

I really like them, porsche alloys are something i've wanted for ages, tried to swap my dad's 911 wheels but for some reason he wasn't interested

Buying the wheels isn't that difficult, but paying for the hub adapters is heart-breaking!

:(

Really didnt think they would be to my taste...

...Now i've seen the piccies they look spot on, nice one Josh

I noticed the rears were wider than the front when I saw it @ Inters.

Wanted to have a chat with you but couldn't find you on the MKIV stand.

Alloys do look nice but TBH I prefer the standard alloys & it's a little too low for my liking. Nice to see something different though.

How does all this affect the handling.Larger rears? Only ever seen it on exotica!

Does it improve things or upset things or make no difference.Does being front wheel drive make a difference?

Sorry so many questions.Just intrigued!

Very nice though

Having wider wheels on the back of a FWD car is not the best thing to do . Personally i would avoid doing it at all costs, it may cost you your car. Ride height is nice though - i trust you are happy with the handling though ?

I'd guess big fat rears would mean you eliminate any lift-off oversteer, but would tend to increase the amount of understeer when pushing on?

Chris

The photo's really don't do Josh's car justice, I've seen it for myself and it looks 'The Daddy', the view of rear is fantastic compared to standard.

Josh that look great.

What % tint are the rear windows - also where did you get your mini aerial from?

Looks very smooth - kind of Euro look.

Little bit low for my liking but i do like those wheels.

Bit low for my liking and a bit low for my under-tray's liking too!

I'll raise it a little when H&R send me my C-Spanners.

It feels a bit wierd having different width tyres front and rear... Like it's going to understeer, but it hasn't so far.

The Toyo's are awesome, (T1-R) absolutely awesome.

The antenna is by Forge Motorsport and I can't even get Radio 1 with it, so it's going on eBay.

Tints are 50% on the sides and 35% on the back screen.

Enough (and I mean enough) euro dubs have fat rear wheels (just look through any recent copy of VW Speed or VW Style) and they seem to be ok...

Josh, Looks proper oldskool. Are you using wheel adaptors?
