Arm rest looks nearly identical to the golf 4 one, tapers more at the end though (check my pics further up this thread).

Cost me £50 odd second hand, don't know part number, ring dealer.

Just got gauges in mine thats about it

But they were to keep an eye on how engine is more than a interior mod

Like the way you fitted the gauges into the center vent, but were did you locate the hazard switch too ?

Not blocked em off no lol, just simply dont put heaters through top blowers. Just have it on feet or windscreen, or both

there's some really nice interiors here, given me a few ideas for mine's.

How easy are the green dash lights to change over to blue/red? I like the coloured lock buttons too, the R32 wheel and the W8 light. it's a pity the armrest doesn't fit with the SE seats, due to the piping, or i'd fit one too.

The dash lights aren't too difficult if your handy with a soldering iron, as you need to un-solder the surface mount leds and replace them. They are really small though so can be fiddly

Ahh I just screenshotted the manual.

Picked up these cheap (ish). Gonna get Unit 18 to hook them up for me. I *think* they have heated elements too so might wire them up if so.

Those alcantara seats are so grippy on your bum.

Surprising how well you stay put when sat in them. I'm loving mine

even though its white... lol

Also be thankful that Alcantara wasn't popular/existed(??) in the 1970s... Imagine the embarrassment of wearing cords and inadvertently velcroing oneself to the seat!
