Jase's Leon! Project OEM +

Featured Replies

I'm not a fan of the badge in the front grill, doesn't seem to fit well like all the m sport badges you see people putting on the front of BMWs. I think the badge would look well on the lower front grill down in the corner somewhere. Something similar to the new Leon. Will look more OEM.

  • I like the mark 2, but my only problem is they are far too common and driven by a lot of chavs! Why don't you send your ECU off to shark for a remap, saves on the STS costs. When I spoke to Ben abou

  • I've never seen the Leon splitter in a Leon before, looks good that lol

  • I was joking, hence the lol

The cupra mk1 leon has the badge where ive put my fr one?

So its more in keeping with the oem look than putting it in the lower grille? :/

:o

Interesting option Jase. Where did you get them from?

Main site doesn't list Seat, or Skoda for that matter.

Flo-flex bushes?

Got them

On ebay... They are really quite good. The visual finish to them isnt as asthetically pleasing as powerflex but performance wise and fit into the wishbone they are very very good!

And £28 compared to £80 for powerflex swung the deal for me. Other forums ive posted on think the voided bush design is a good idea!

Try looking on the flo-flex website maybe at a polo?

Yeah Flo-Flex. The VW section doesn't even list the Mk5 Golf!

http://www.floflex.co.uk/

Just had a look they dont seem to do any :o

The stuff they seem to do is old school...

Seems like they stopped updating their products in 2002 lol

Suppose you got lucky there, as the Leon Mk1 was '99 onwards?

Very strange as could have been a decent option there!

Yeah i actually bought the ones listed for the mk4 golf. Took a chance on them as they were on e-bay with 35% off so got them delivered for £28 which is £7 a bush which is class!

They can make custom bushes from what i've read on the net.

Thanks, I've dropped them a line to see if they can offer anything.

Bit of pic whoring

Not bad for 102k i think

:)

Bit of trip isn't it? Pity it's a work day as I'm only 15 mins from there and would have popped over :)
