I dont mind the mark 2. Its a good package my only gripes are the centre console is horrible and imo the mk1 is a nicer looking car

Why don't you send your ECU off to shark for a remap, saves on the STS costs. When I spoke to Ben about it he was going to do it on a day return to reduce the time I'm sure he would be more than happy to do the same for you

Well i did get a good deal with sky insurance on here

Busy day today!

Oil and filter change

And decided to have a shot of fitting an under the driveshaft front arb instead of my over the driveshaft one that likes to knock over bumps!

Put this job off for months but it was actually easy peasy!

Also lowered the front another 4 threads and fitted my superpro arb bushes

Before (over driveshaft)

After (under driveshaft)

Lowered 4 turns

New drop links (this is where my old octy kw's come in as i have the mounting point on the strut )

Then it was a reset the service indicator job..... Until another common VAG fault rears its head! So off i go for another new part - green coolant temp sensor

Quick wash and hoover and my day is done!

No more faults / banging over bumps of riding high

Tried out some Poorboys Black Hole Glaze!

Quite impressed
