Yup ditched the octy for the poor mpg. Was costing me £80 a week in fuel so was just getting majorly peeved off with it!

Going to lower it a smidge but just so it looks subtle! Had modded 1.9tdi's in the past but the cost to hybrid them etc is astronomical so just keeping engine stock (for now)

Nice owning a car thats not silver as a good polish and it looks awesome! Just gave it a quick going over with autoglym deep shine polish for dark cars, really clean for the year! Much cleaner than my octy was thats for sure. Whoever had it looked after it. No tar spots and unswirled paint! Result!

Full service is on the cards, and a clean of the intercooler pipes / egr / inlet so its all tickety boo

Mind on ive only ever had tuned up pd130's so this is waay slow. Running a tuning box on it for the time being until i talk myself into a remap / clutch / turbo

When I was looking I obviously compared the two and did prefer the exterior look of the FR+.

Not a huge fan of the 17" version of the R wheel, but would have probably changed those anyway.

When I was looking it was also about getting the youngest car, and as the FR+ was a run-out model that's what came up.

Yeah i've had 3 pd130's

1 was 173bhp

1 was 200bhp

1 was 276bhp

So the 150 in a leon doesnt give the wow factor.

Im guessing the fr+ was on an 55 plate. Just think the fr looks more subtle rather than a diesel cupra r look. Looks wrong imo

Yep, mostly 55s and went to see an 06 as well, which was mega late as the Mk2 was out by then.

Nice looking Leon fella. Nice cars. Mate had standard fab, drove mine a cppl of times and went down hybrid route.....sure after the ones you've had in the past the itch will take over. U going to make it look like a cupra r or leave it?

No not going for a cupra r look.... I actually prefer the look of the cupra. The r looks a bit ott to me!

New fr knob new ibiza fr possibly?
