Front is 4 Threads left on the bottoms

You did change over the rubber spring seats on the new ones right?

yeah changed over the spring seats, that arch gaps about where mine was when it was half way, also i have 18s didnt change too much when wound all the way up but no more rubbing :)

one thing i have noticed with the octavia is that they sit really odd! mine as it is right now is actually level but the arch gap is loads different :(

 

and thanks man! im trying my best to get the thread going properly again get the car how it should be! :)

i see that mate, very interested but... im going visual route at the moment and diff should be soon just need to repair my old gearbox for it will start stripping the box down later this week ready for it ;) then next year im thinking about another engine to build up and have some fun with :) sods law we threw one in the scrap about 6 months ago now :(

Octy's sit weird because the rear arch is actually lower than the front, so you have to give them some front end rake to even everything out.

ahh i never really looked into it just thought as that looks odd.. lol

ahh yeah sorry hankooks on the front and good ride on one side and some other crap on the other side, generally have no idea as they are only on the rear so cant tell much haha

update time!

 

front has settled down nice now :) the car is now level (although the arches aren't) i keep scraping every thing!

got a coat on the battery cover :) 1 coat and it is virtually covered, just a few more to make sure there is no patches :)

its the splitter i scrape :( on and off my drive and a bump on the way to work, to avoid that bump it will ad about 10-15 minutes onto my journey! my splitter will just have to suffer!  :giggle:

Ah its all good fun, big power is my end game ;)

Headed over to prept tonight had a good night had some great feedback on the car! Just need to sort the rough running when boosting and first thing starts, new TIP on the way, another flap motor fitted, i think the 2 problems are 2 different causes, cold start problem there is a technical bulletin for it from skoda so am slowly working through the list of causes and the pulsating boost i think it just the TIP so am looking forward to sorting it all out bow the love is back for the car :)

your probably end up buying my setup :giggle:

 

balls forgot about prept could of gone in my new aswell :sweat:
