Felicia to join the Rex

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

bought a felicia today, decided I needed a winter runabout after getting rid of my Rover Metro in the summer. You'll usually find me behind the wheel of an RX8, but I garage that during the winter and get a banger, this year I chose an old felicia.

The car is in absolute mint condition, not a single spot of rust on it, which i was impressed with seeing as its nearly 16yrs old, only thing i could fault on it was the biting point of the clutch is really high.. Apart from that, seems like a good one!

Look forward to speaking with you guys! Alex

That looks in pretty good shape, its quiet an early one as it has the prefacelift front end.

How many miles on it, and previous keepers.

Had 2 previous keepers and its at 80,000 miles.. Pretty clueless about these cars, but not too bad with motors in general, anything i should look out for?

Hi & welcome to a new Felly owner. Look forward to seeing you around the site. ;)

If it's been looked after mechanically not too much, corrosion can often be a problem (arches, sills etc) but from what you say that may not be an issue. Worth checking out the areas you can't readily see (suspension/struts etc) as such areas can also be prone. Apart from that enjoy

Hi and welcome aboard.

Looks great for it's age.

I got under it earlier with a torch and had a good luck up there, I was pleasantly suprised. I waxoyled the RX8 a few months back and still have the kit to do it, might give the underside a quick treatment to keep it tidy..A quick pic of my 8 and the last winter runaround..
