They are quoting about 21 days+ for new installs at the moment and have approx. 22K outstanding faults to fix.

Yep, we move on Saturday and will have no phone or broadband until 15th JANUARY!!!!!!!

Commiserations on moving - quite the most soul destroying activity known - however nice the destination!

When I moved 6yrs ago, a distance of about 300 yds, BT swopped the phone at the agreed time - all hunky dory. Orange however took the same 10 days you have been quoted, and that was awful for us.

Seems accessing your account on screen and entering the relevant values is very difficult and time consuming.

Maybe you'll enjoy the lack of hassle, you find other activities to fill your waking hours.

PAYG data USB modems are pretty nifty in these situations. Supermarkets have good deals on them usually. Unless one lives where the mobile network don't shine!

Still no kitchen fitted, but BT "hope" to reconnect us to Broadband possibly next week.

Dewi makes a very good removal van with out the seats in; it really is surprising how much can be squeezed in. However a double mattress was too big!!

Kitchens are over rated.......Dewi just needs to be turned into a fast food delivery wagon
