I did look at this and actually took out a car 4 a test drive with it fitted and in my honest opinion it's dangerous, the phone blocks access even further to the handbrake and other vital controls-cup-holder cig lighter etc. (the armrest blocks it enough why rs owners want one i don't know)

I had the armrest in my L&K, and I found that it was a bit of a pain if you had it down around town, as it does get in the way -it was nice on long motorway journeys, though. Without the phone kit, I'm not sure what you'd use the space inside it for -though I once calculated that you could get around 16 packets of Smints inside it.......
