Not for the near future but just wondered if this was a good price for a full kit inc. pads hoses etc (uses red dot rotors)

I may just go for uprated 312mm discs(at front) from the vrs application- should i also then upgrade the rears too?......decissions decissions.

Let me know what ya think...

Ian Godney (Godspeed) machines all the Discs, carriers etc so you can have whatever you want, as many grooves as you want, drilled if you want as well. Also his discs have seperate bells (the middle bit) so when you wear out the discs replacements are cheaper.

A point to note, the more grooves & holes you have in a disc the noisier it is in use & this can get anoying, you get a sort of rumble noise. Ive had drilled & Grooved discs & they were a pain. I now have Ians discs with 6 grooves & they are fine, also curved grooves are quiter than straight groovs or some reason.

When comparing kits also check Pad size, the AP 4 pots have pads I believe about 20% bigger than the Brembos so more pad on disc = better brakes

As Eddy says check wheel clearance carefully before you buy, its no good if the calliper hits the spokes. Again Godspeed will build a kit to suit your wheels if its possible, as I said in response to another thread which you might not have read Ian recently squeezed a set of AP 6 Pots + 335x32 discs behind std Octy RS Wheels :):)
