hello! I have a Skoda Yeti 4X4! And loving every minute of it!

Hello there and welcome along

Sounds nice B)

Hi and welcome aboard.

Hey welcome to the board. I heard that Skoda are big news in India now but not seen many Indian members here so far. The last one was several years ago moaning that his Fabia could not cope with the rural roads around his house. I don't think you will have that trouble :)

Have fun and hope you enjoy it here. There is a big Yeti community here who love their cars.

Skoda is doing pretty well, it seems, judging from the number of cars on he road. The company has been intelligent to price their cars nicely. The vehicles are very well built and feel strong and secure. It seems they sell around 3000-4000 cars a month. The Yeti hasnt done so well, selling roughly <200 cars a month. The general mindset in this market is to go for a bigger car. I dont know why anyone would want a 7 seater on an offroader, but he show off factor of a large car, which will never travel the dusty road is there.

Its a pity though, that they dont sell in India, some features that they do in other markets. For example, they dont have any options for the 17 inch wheels, which would be awesome here in this country. They dont offer sunroof. I also wish it were possible to plug some kind of a map device to display on teh media player.

Despite, I am loving every km on the car.
