Induction Kit

Featured Replies

I'm after an induction kit for my VRS but I'm unsure on what kit to get, for best performance and sound?

I'm also unsure what exhaust system would be best, cat back?, turbo back?, decat?, sports cat?

Any advice would be welcome!

Ok induction is simple you need a PD 160 intake assembly and a Jabbasport cone in a box. However you won't get any increase in induction roar ! As for exhaust a lot of Brisky members are using Piper exhausts at the moment. Build quality and fitment from people's feedback seems excellent. Piper do cat back,de-cat and sports cat systems and also many different tail pipe sizes and configurations. Hope this helps.

I wouldnt be to fused on the sound side of things on a diesel intake system. Alot of people say just replace your standard filter when needed as it copes and works fine. I personally prefer uprated panel filters and k&n seem to have the least amount of issues on here,

tbh i had a pipercross induction in a hyundai coupe it didn't half make a difference both in fuel economy(as when i first got the car you turned the key and lost 15-20 mile in tank, plus lack of power)

and a peipercross panel filter in a suzuki swift sport before getting a bma carbon induction put in which madde it fly

id go for a pipercross over any k and n anyday basically for build quality
