  • Okay buttplug, have it your way, but what I was referring to was standard vRS'. In the case of which I fully stand by my original statement. As stock, even brand new, the handling is quite frankly, a

Looks good!

Will i kill myself by going backwards into a tree with it?

I also have kw coilovers fitted :)

Need an eibach arb on the front also as my drive shaft hits my stock farb (leon mk1 tdi)

I love my Neuspeed. It isn't that bad Jase. Hugely stiff but its really predictable! Bargain though! I paid £100 for mine and I thought that was cheap!

So basically whats the difference with one of these?

I do hammer it on backroads and i feel i know the exact limit of the car... And with its current kw v1's you really have to be going silly speeds to break traction.

What will this arb do for me? Allow more speed?

I just dont really know what it will do?

Do i be scared of it?

always be scared ( respect) of your car that way you will never push past your limits ;-) the day your not scared is the day you crash

the only way you will know what it does it fit it and drive some like some dont all down to your driving style imo

Don't lift off suddenly, and you'll stay with us. ;)

I've tried to get the back end to step out on roundabouts the odd time at silly am but it just grips too hard on my Continentals. I had a tiny whiteline first then moved to the neuspeed and it just made the back end hang on even longer. I'm not a mental but I like to corner properly and I've never been worried. I do treat it like Clive says though, don't fancy pushing it that much!

the main thing to remember as demonufo says is DONT back off! the 28mm bars are great, they do however allow you to get in a bit more trouble if you decide to bottle it when pushed, as the breakaway point is more subtle due to less lean.

It is very predictable and is going to be doing a much better job at keeping your car going the right direction when you hammer it round a bend or roundabout instead of having a car wallowing all over the place. As mentioned when you back off throttle you will feel the RARB strength. When you are holding throttle you can feel the RARB digging in.

Change you FARB set up to that of the TT, R32, VRS set up and then benefit some more.

Is the tt / r32 / octavia farb a better setup than a big looped arb?

Currently my farb goes over driveshaft and connects to the wishbones?

Since my coils came off my vrs i have the option to run the farb the same way as the octy vrs (below driveshaft) and connected to shocks as i have the drop link tab on them :)

yes it seems to be as thats what all the fast vag cars use ie cupra r, tt golf anni, and the vrs, it allows fitting of the best size oe bar imo the 23m front, which when mated to a 28mm rear on a vrs anyway is an awesome match

Yes im confused as what to do. There is a 22mm bigger looped arb also available

Think ill go for what the faster motors use :)

Get a matching 25mm Neuspeed! I'm not biased, honest! Haha.

Yes go that route.......

If you ever lower your KW further you will not have the hooped ARB hitting drive shaft issues.

Just need the VRS drop links and a Golf R32 FARB

Then you can also consider to replace for cast wishbones and Hubs like LCR,TT,S3,R32 etc hmm..
