***ATTN ALL OWNERS IN ABERDEEN AREA***

Featured Replies

You may or may not be aware of the group of car thiefs that are currently terrorising the city.

Link to their facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/garthdeejockyz.ftp

They have been stealing the cars with the keys but there is a third plastic key in audi's and bmw's that can apparently be used to take the car. I was wondering if skoda do a simmilar thing, hiding the key behind the dash.

If so how do you remove it from a skoda?

  • Is it a good idea to post these hints and tips for scrotes on a freely viewed public forum? I know it's unlikely these scum can read anything other than 'txt spk' but surely the less public this kn

No there isnt well not in mine ive had the dash in bits fitting all sorts lol, plus they can try my house but the dog would get them then i would.

Scumbags man.

It's going to push insurances up too. I wish some one would catch them and chop the little swines into chunks and feed them to the prisoners in HMP Craigie

Watch out the Police are so over manned that they might be after you next, check link below:

From a recent thread

Beware the police if you try to help yourself. Usual Daily Fail pinch of salt applies.

unbelieveable, scum! Surely the police can get a hold of the IP addresses from FaceBook, or their mobile phone numbers or something?

stolen phone on a wifi hotspot or something possibly :(

yeah, could be. C****.

Even so, some of the groups? friends freely give their full name and place of work. Surely not much detecting to or digging to find out who the culprits are? A dark room, a wet towel and some water should yield results in five minutes ;)

The link won't open grrr

try this, same linky

That's the RS4 I think he was bragging about on his FB wall that was torched.

Well that's a cracking story. I better mind myself lol.

I'd like to say what I feel about these guys, but I may end up overloading the swear filter, and working in a call centre, I've picked up a very wide expletive vocabulary from customers in the past :D Absolute scum! As if they're thick enough to post it on Facebook too. Something tells me they didn't even make it through school with stupidity that high. There's a limit to how intelligent someone can be, but this goes to show that there's no limit to how brain dead some people are!

What a wonderful group of people. Makes you proud to be British. . .

I can't understand a word of what they're saying/typing though - and what person thought building a key into the car was ever a good idea?!

how many people still leave their car keys by the door?

that ladies audi was stolen by someone kicking in the 'dog flap' then either climbing through or reaching in and unlocking the door and taking the keys that were in view.

sad to say I know but we all need to take precautions and consider simple measures to prevent theft.

Hang on .... car thieves with their own Facebook page.

I'm genuinely shocked by this ???

The police really need to make an example of them or loads of other wee pricks will start doing it aswell

I'd rather have my keys left in plain view of the front door than someone waking me up in the middle of the night asking where they are.

Why would you need a spare key in the car?

Glad I live totally the opposite end of the country. Don't even have a padlock on the shed containing my track wheels, mountain bike + tools, etc. No need.

well then lets hope if you have a dog flap you only have a very small dog!

:giggle:

Checked out the Facebook page and it sickened me how in your face they were with it and even posting pictures of the people they stole cars from!!! Really p-ed me off and glad i don't live there but then every area has there own d---heads!!!

If i caught them i would literally bust their balls

Obviously silly wee boys who are nobodies. Will always be nobodies! Scroats!

Facebook is hosted abroad so getting details form them is actually very hard. UK warrant isn't worth the paper its printed on. Also problems with entrapment and RIPA/RIPSA if you take information from the page. The law is an ass sometimes.

And as posted don't threaten to do them any harm on a public forum, if plod pick you up for that it's still a tick in the box (solved crime) for them and easier than getting the ne'er-do-wells in question.

Just for general knowledge it's peroxide or bleach to get ride of DNA traces and burn rubber gloves, you can take fingerprints from the inside of them :bandit:

Me and the missus were discussing this at the weekend and had a look at the facebook page. I had a quick check in the glove box and couldnt see any key but i never removed any panels etc. There was actually 2 cars taken from our neighbours. Wait to you here this......The scumbags gained access through house front door (dont know how) stole car keys and stole both cars. I think the theives ended up crashing or something. The poor neighbours posted on facebook that she was glad the little scroats crashed. Police came round to her house and warned her not to post comments like that on facebook. WTF.. The neighbour (female) doesnt take kindly to these kind of helpful comments so had a right rant at the cops about their general uselessness and the fact that she was the one being cautioned by them. She went to local papers in the end who published story to embaress the useless plod.

Sad society we live in. Police are next to useless and are being outsmarted by kids on facebook. Where are these supposed "cyber crime" specialists???

Even if they cant catch the crooks whty bother to caution the victim of the crime about posting harsh comments about the crooks on facebook. Pathetic.

Way i see it, if someone wants my keys they are welcome to take them, car is insured and can be replaced. Too many stories of people confronting thieves and things going seriously bad for either the thief or the victim.
