Excessive Engine shudder upon shut down

ive noticed that since i deleted my egr system when i shut the engine off the car rocks left to right as is shutting down,

it literally feels like someone is rocking the car from side to side for 2secs. its very noticeable.

is this related to the egr delete or could it be something else?

That's because the EGR is also the anti shudder valve!

is there anyway to reduce this without putting the egr setup back on?

Nope - you soon get used to it. I don't notice at all in my fabia now.

im sure the engine judder contributed to my turbo/cat flexi joint splitting! never mind, ive got a reason to decat now.

Hi all. I have a 2012 Octavia with the 1.2 TSI CBZB engine and a single-zone, 3-knob climate control system. I live in a Middle Eastern country with a hot climate, and the AC on its coldest setting is performing okay, but not great. Even after refilling the refrigerant gas, there was still no improvement. When I point a laser thermometer into an air vent with the system set to maximum cold and air recirculation turned on, it reads about 14c. While I have read about the compressor control valve f

So I am now the proud owner of three head units. One which is locked and I can't decode. One with a broken screen which works (except for display) and one that is a piece of crap aftermarket one which won't turn on. For my sanity, please could someone recommend a decent unit, that doesn't require me to cut wires, that is not a piece of crap and fits into the existing trim and doesn't look terrible. There's so many out there and it's hard to know which ones are good.

Hi all My Skoda 1.6 fsi 2006 petrol has an issue with the starter motor. It could be mechanical or electrical and I need any advice you can give m. Today I noticed a horrible grinding noise after start up. After researching the problem I discovered it is the bendix either staying jammed out against the flywheel or not retracting once the car has started. Does anyone know how to find all the relays? The only relays found was in the engine bay (no 100) The Skoda manual only has fuse locations.

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi Everyone, I am a Lady driver who owns a Skoda Yeti (best car I have every had) since 2011. I live in France and recently, we have had weeks of 38 to 40 degrees everyday. It is horrendous.
