Rear doors not locking centrally

Featured Replies

I have searched and cannot find anything. Is there a common fault to cause the rear doors not to lock with button on drivers door, remote or anti high jack?. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Can any one offer advice?

Do they work when you lock/unlock using the key in the door?

Think the car thinks its a 3 door of what I can see on vcds, but don't know how to change this!

Anyone suggest anything / one?

Probably the rear door latches always go on old fabias I seem to be always changing them at work

Ive had my back two door locks replaced recently due to them deadlocking. But i thonk my central locking needs reprograming now when I press my fob the drivers door unlocks along with the back doors. If i then try to lock the doors from the inside using the button on the drivers door arm it locks the two front dors and locka the back doors for a second before they unlock again. Is this something that i need VCDS fo or can i do it myself using a key turning combination?

Sorry for hyjacking the thread

Can you hear the actuators operating in the rear doors? If so it is probably something related to the mechanism. I had a similar problem after the rear door cards were removed to sort out the leaks.

Have you recoded the CCM?

If so what value did you set it to?

65?

Try the value 67 IIRC (4 doors, 2 power windows & selective unlock off)

Where is the CCM located? I bought a new one but can't find where it goes

Found this but it's for left hand drive cars

Anyone?

Nobody able to help? I tried this again at the weekend and save for smashing up the bracket or removing the whole dash I don't see how it is possible to remove it.

I think I am having a similar problem, my key does unlock and lock all doors except the back 2, so coming in with passengers I'll have to open the front doors then manually open the back two from the inside.

When it comes to locking i'll have to remind the passenger or myself to push down the locking button and it locks well. Not too much of a nightmare but it does get annoying.

Any tips on what might be at fault please let me know.
