Is this a new word? Should it be in the dictionary? " bossfoxed" ( when something is pushed beyond its envelope) :)

You seem to have invented a new verb Seb. :D

Would be interesting if Skoda brought that to Gaydon.....Skoda CityGo Go vs BossFox CityGo Go :giggle:

Any dragstrips near the national meet?

Stunning!!

The car park?

It looks spot on, but is it just a 1 litre with a badboy exhaust? No real clues as to the true potential from that without actual racing footage or something like that?

I believe mine is all go and no show and thiers is the opposite. :)

Skoda has revealed a rally-spec Citigo at the Worthersee tuning event in Austria, and we were there to see it make its debut.

Featuring a full roll-cage, stripped out interior with racing seat, racing wheel and digital dash display matched by a massive bodykit, the Citigo caused quite a stir at the VW Group event.

While parent company VW will go rallying with its Polo, Skoda has yet to confirm the Citigo’s competition debut.

The concept car features a 1.2-litre engine (up from the road car’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder) but the engine still doesn't comply with any FIA approved category.

But Skoda says that the body kit is not just for show - it will comply with technical regulations, which is the biggest hint yet that this is a serious competition car.

Now to combine the 2 mwuhahaha

I must admit I'm for the 'looks normal' but goes like **** of a shovel myself. Too many flash 'look at me' cars around that sound like a bag of nails in a bean tin and perform like a damp squib?

Sorry - double post

There's only one way to find out.........

As I thought - the exhaust note didn't sound good in my opinion. All a bit MaccieD's carpark in my eyes (or ears)

Out of interest, the current WRC rules limit cars to a minimum weight of 1200kg and a power of around 300bhp.

200(ish)kg more and 150bhp less.

Citigogo vrs Fabia WRC S2000 would be quite interesting...

AFAIK Skoda are developing an R5 version of the Fabia3 to replace the FabiaS2000 and not the Citigo.

For up coming cars in just a few years something like the Junior World Rallying with the likes of Super 1600,

but even smaller engines is where the manufacturers will be putting any effort i think.

Probably the future Motorsports are going to be much more 'Green' and more Environmental based. At least for publicity.

Not far away from Duel energy electric motors in preparation for Euro 6 emission vehicles.

Citigo/Up! will be near there for fitting Electric rear drive motors with petrol front wheel drive.
