Wiper blades doing my nut in!

Featured Replies

Hi, wonder if the community can help me. I own a mk1 fabia vrs and the wiper blades are doing my head in. When you activate the windscreen washer, the blades move across the screen as normal. However when you release the stalk, the water stops and so do the blades. Then about 10 seconds later the blades move across the screen again. Now from my searching I know this can be turned off in vcds, now my question is what channel/what specifically do I turn off?

Thanks guys

It's bloody annoying isn't it!

Especially in the summer when all it does is smears the windscreen!

Ah yes, we nicknamed that particular feature 'stupid wipe' I turned it off on the Octavia and Golf but the moaning about it on the Leon hasn't quite reached the level that would motivate me to do it.

Fabia: Controller 09, Login 21343, Adaption 10, Channel 07, default is 5 on and 0 is off.
