Modding my Vrs

Featured Replies

Hi guys, had my black 56 plate vrs for a month now and its been great. Now im going to start doing some minor mods starting with Egr delete and remap then eibach springs and cupra splitter.

Now the main thing im stuck on is the standard alloys. The girl that owned the car before me had them refubed and powder coated red...

The question is should i keep them this colour and paint the calipers or should i paint the alloys? Im stuck and can't make up my mind :/

Blimey, got any pics?

Its up to you, your car will certainaly turn more heads with red wheels then lets say black, silver or grey!

Change the chrome grill surround, wing mirrors and roof/spoiler to red, then the wheels won't stick out so much. ;)

My eyes!!!!

Looks terrible, change the color, which colour however is up to you, standard silver is quite nice

I had red wheels on my old focus st170 and it looked nice. Suited it better than how yours looks though to be fair. When it's lowered might look better

Lol that,

a deeper red would have looked better, usually red goes well with black but have to admit they dont look too good in that pic

The red is pretty bright, its a shame to paint over the powdercoat as its a perfect job but damn it hurts your eyes in the morning lol!

Those red alloys could have worked well if they were a deep red!

Look more orange to me

only look orange in the pics, they are red in the flesh. Ill lower etc first then get some more pics up :)

I like them!

But then I do have baby blue wheels on mine...

Are the calipers still green behind those red wheels?

That's an interesting colour combo. Christmassy...

I'm still trying to make my mind up. In a way I like them because they're different and they break up the black a bit, but on the other hand they're somewhat garish ... They might look a bit better when you've driven through a few dirty puddles.

Always liked mine when it was washed so they were really bright

Looks nice on the focus. Think mine would be nicer once its lowered.

Thought I saw you on the a14 near Cambridge yesterday as It was a black vrs, red wheels sporting the fog lights on when it was still light. But your in Ayrshire so can't be you?
