steering wheel controls for radio

I have a 2008 old style superb and have replaced the Blaupunkt DX sat nav with a Pioneer avic 940. the unit was sold as being able to integrate with the car's steering wheel controls but the dealer has so far (8 months and 3 return visits) been unable to find a harness that will get steering wheel controls to the car. Does anyone know of a fix for this, either a known harness or a wiring fix or adaptor to allow this unit to integrate?

I'd be really grateful for any advice here because obviously I don't really want to have to pull over every time I want to fiddle with the radio......

I was struggling with this the same, i installed a Pioneer AVH-4400BT in mine, and although quoted as being compatible with OEM controls, it appears that there isn't a harness adapter available and the standard VAG doesn't fit as, with mine anyway, the Steering Wheel Control wires are different.
