Hi guys

New here and just looking for some help !

My octavia has just started a problem, when backing out of my sisters driveway which is up hill the car started to jerk and then engine stop ! It re started straight away but engine management light is on but not staying on ! Just comes on then goes out but after a few seconds comes back on !!

Managed to get home but engine running ruff and when over 30mph it gets worse and fills like whole cars jerking and just running bad , once at home and out of the car I noticed that there was a bad smell from N/S back wheel ! Like a burning smell but all looks ok !

I'm thinking it could be cat , or turbo but hoping its neither !!! Has any one had this problem or can advise me
