I have read that an ESP light and the switch that won't activate is a common MK60 error.

and VCDS is saying: 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) - 012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit

One of the solution to try is the "Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) Basic Setting

but when it comes to activte the basic settings i'm getting an error: ERROR 066 NOT AVAILABLE.

The security code has been ok'ed and if I enter 066 in the group again it comes with green text saying somethinke like adjusting but the basic settings is off.

The brakeswitch seems ok (look below) ?

The breakesensor is changeing when braking but is out of range? (look below)

Do anyone have a solution or something I could try?

Read the thread below. My first thought is that you have the well-known failure of the Teves Mk 60 controller. If so, the is a repair kit for it now.

Thanks Honoray I will look again at the links you supplied.

But I thought this was a bit different since I'm still getting different reading from the pressure sensor when braking. Not stuck at some value as others are saying.

Which version/level of VCDS do you have?

If you only have VCDS-Lite, then you don't have access to basic settings.

If the cable came with software, it is most likely a fake - sorry.

If it is a genuine cable then you can update it to the latest version for free from http://www.ross-tech...ad/current.html

No he is saying if you got the cable and it came with disc with v10.6 which you HAD to use then you have a hacked copy of the software and a fake cable. So its Russian roulette as to what may or may not work.

As the two previous posters have pointed out, if your cable was supplied with VCDS software then it is most likely a fake, ie it has been cloned in breach of copyright laws. This means that you are unlikely to get any further help or advice on Briskoda in using that cable. Sorry.

Some controllers/components can be particularly picky when it comes to communication and the quality of the components in the lead can make a difference. I bought a cheap ebay cable which I used with VCDS Lite and I had all manner of issues getting it to connect to the ECU in our Leon. Since I got my all singing and dancing proper cable from Ross Tech via Gendan (Proper UK supplier) I have had zero issues.

As it seems this thread involves the use of non genuine VCDS cable, it is locked until further notice.

I have been alerted the O.P now has full VCDS, so re-opening to continue legitimate discussion.  

If you are still getting problems using a proper version of VCDS then I would really think about looking into the repair kit.
