Hello from an impending Fabia vRS owner!

Well, if I'm honest, it will be my other half's vRS but I'm sure 'what's mine is yours' will apply.

Anyhoo, after admiring the vRS from afar and realising that her clapped out Ovlov estate would not make it through another MOT unaided, we went for a test drive last Saturday. The car was much more fun that expected (quite nippy ain't they! ). I am used to my tuned Saab 9-3 turbo (around 260bhp and climbing) so wasn't expecting a great deal from the vRS but christ-on-a-bike, what a pleasant surprise. Plenty big torque . So a deposit was put down there and then and a shiny new car should arrive in around 3 weeks. Ordered in black, of course

Just got to get it chipped and lowered and away we go. Looking forward to being on here a lot more in the future - great resource!

He he - no, I'm definitely keeping the Saab (plenty quicker than the Skoda and soon to be taken up to and over 300bhp and around 420Nm torque). Mind you, the light of my life only drives in to work once or twice a week so I guess I'll have to use it the rest of the time.

We're getting the car from Autosales in Bilston. We used them a fair bit in the past when SWMBO had a Felicia and found them to be very obliging.
