If I read it right the sport seats are being dropped; states stock vehicles only. Shame if so, as they were more comfy than the standard seats.

I can only hope that the fabric design is changing and that sports seats will continue in some new form. I have them on mine and agree that they are very comfortable.

 

Edit: They are still on the Czech configurator so must be a Skoda UK ban. I wonder if they are saving them to go with the "style packet" when the Spaceback comes out?

Maybe their dedicating them to a specific sport model in the near future?

Hopefully, but it would be nice if they gave everybody the option of sports seats to keep people like TP happy who have a phobia of big wheels

 

I was hoping a production Rapid Sport would get the seats from the concept (fabric a la Citigo Sport)

I have just put in a factory order for a 1.4 DSG Elegance - had to be a factory order because of heated seats. I've been given an  up to 12 weeks estimate, which is fine. What I'd be interested to know is that if its built in the next 6-8 weeks, is it likely to include some if the revisions that have been recently announced e.g. revised cabin trim, three spoke wheel, revised damper settings and revised steering gear. 

It will have the new cabin trim and three spoke wheel but not sure when they are debuting the revised dampers and steering on the liftback. It might well be immediately as they have already started building the Spaceback.

Ok so picked it up at the weekend. It did have the three spoke wheel and updated trim.  Don't know how you  could tell about steering and dampers but it feels fine to drive.

I think it to be a bit of a shame to rid the Rapid of the sport seats option. Perhaps they are reserving it solely for the Sport version?

Also, mine are red-flecked which gives the interior a tiny splash of colour, which to be honest, I think it needs...

Does no one know the part numbers for the xenon headlights? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Today i went to a motor show here in athens, where spaceback debuted in greece. The sedan version was also there. Spaceback looks nice, although i personally prefer the sedan. Both models had the new 3 spoke steering wheel, 4 window controls on drivers door and decorative panel on the dashboard (one brushed aluminium and the other piano black). I so want one in piano white!

anyone with a Rapid has tried fitting the decorative bars?

can they be retrofitted?

i called Skoda Greece, gave them the p/n and they knew nothing about it.

they didn't know if the p/n consisted of both the 2 parts or just the bigger one and also if it could be retrofitted.

they were asking for 120 euros, which is a bit pricy IMHO, so i didn't order it.
